Measurement shows whether chemistry, equipment and operating practice combine to achieve the desired effect.
Do not measure concentrations alone
A product concentration says little without process context. Combine it with temperature, flow, pressure, conductivity and relevant quality measurements.
Link chemistry to performance
Define in advance which process KPIs must improve, such as heat transfer, pressure drop, corrosion rate or run length.
Use trends
Individual measurements are snapshots. Trends reveal drift, seasonal effects and the impact of process changes.
Define actions
An alarm limit only has value when it is clear who checks what and which safe corrective action follows.
